On a beautiful sunny Saturday in September, Worsley had the pleasure of showcasing some of our finest attachments at Wray’s Plant in Carrington, Manchester.
This was a great opportunity for Worsley to present a fleet of products from our long serving suppliers such as, MB Crusher, Remu, Rotar, Montabert, Dynaset, Oilquick and Lehnhoff. This demo day not only provided us with a stage to present the range of products we have on offer, but also to gain an insight into how these products can benefit the working process of the customer on the other end.
Wray’s Plant have been screening and crushing for around four years, with the goal being to separate hardcore material from soil, something that has now become a fundamental part of their process in the yard. Originally Wray’s were using a much smaller screening bucket to work alongside the crusher. Due to it’s small size, the screener was not only causing the job to take longer, but this particular screener required several men to move large quantities of material about the yard with loading shovels. In addition to this, fuel bills were also rising due to the different components required to complete the process. This changed however when Wray’s plant decided to purchase one of our highly regarded ‘EP3150’ Remu screening buckets. Known for their efficiency, the Remu screening buckets have proven to be extremely effective in all weather conditions, and can function all year round. It is down to the capabilities of the EP3150, that the guys at Wray’s Plant were able to continue the process with just one man and one machine! It is due to this, that the entire process has become much faster, and a great deal more efficient than before. The team at Wray’s are now able to proceed with other jobs both on site and in the yard, meaning productivity has increased all across the board. These benefits go to show the difference one piece of valuable equipment can make to a company in this industry.

‘The Remu bucket worked particularly well when processing wet material,
previously this kind of material would have caused the bucket to become clogged,
stopping us in our tracks.’
A DEMO DAY TO REMEMBER
Following their purchase of the Remu bucket, Wray’s plant very kindly invited us to participate in their demo day, located at their yard in Carrington.
Not only was this demo day a chance for those in the industry to come and take a look at some potential purchases, but also an opportunity to see the products in action! Of course, food was on hand, provided by the fantastic Howarth’s of Flixton, who kept all in attendance well fed throughout the day.
There was even some healthy competition in the form of a digger challenge!
