MB CRUSHING BUCKET IS PAYING FOR ITSELF

Peter explains:

“We don’t need to pay to take material off site now and also not to bring it in.  We are effectively recycling the materials we are digging up.  It’s saving us a lot of money and time.

The Crushing Bucket is paying for itself.  It’s earning its keep.  It can crush in the rain when the previous one we had couldn’t.”

As a one-man band it’s vitally important that any investment decisions are the right ones for the business.  They’ve got to work.

OUR MB CRUSHING BUCKET IS PAYING FOR ITSELF AS WELL AS MAKING HUGE SAVINGS FOR OUR CUSTOMERS

As a one-man band it’s vitally important that any investment decisions are the right ones for the business.  They’ve got to work.  PB Horrocks Contracting specialise in the agricultural market and work alongside other companies putting up farm buildings and industrial units.  Peter, the Owner, has been driving machines all his life.   Based in Lancashire, PB Horrocks work across the county as well as Yorkshire.

A 14 ton digger that was bought brand new has brought in lots of business, working 4,500 hours in the first two years and using various attachments – including a selector grab, a breaker and a riddle bucket.   One of these was a Crushing Bucket, a model that was slow, couldn’t handle sticky material and soon after it broke.   Peter borrowed an MB Crushing Bucket and was impressed with its performance.

He decided to approach Worsley Plant and immediately ordered his own MB BF60 bucket.   In the first month they’d done 1000 ton.  Often at job sites they are pulling up tarmac.  The bucket has allowed them to crush on site.

Peter explains: “We don’t need to pay to take material off site now and also not to bring it in.  We are effectively recycling the materials we are digging up.  It’s saving us a lot of money and time.

One such example is a recent farm project.   The customer wanted banking digging out.  Part of the materials they dug out was sandstone rock.  The MB Bucket allowed them to crush this and re-use it as a track.   No stone needed to be bought in all the waste was re-used.  The end result looked really good.  This saved the customer a little over £5,000.

Peter concludes: “At the end of the day the Crushing Bucket is a great addition to our toybox.  It’s allowed us to offer a better level of service to our customers and also save them money. With the increase in demand for crushing on site, reliability was much more important for us.   So far, since we’ve changed to the new bucket the performance has been phenomenal.   Totally worth the investment.”

Working with Worsley Plant has been a pleasure.  They are an awesome team – polite, helpful and have provided me with a great level of service, especially their engineers.”
