ROTAR GRABS PROVE POPULAR FOR RECYCLING AND DEMOLITION FIRM

Six years on and with six Grabs in their fleet, plus a Pulveriser, Wycombe Recycling and Gage Demolition are a key customer of Rotar demolition attachments.

“The Rotar Grabs are so strong and durable.  We are using them 8-9 hours a day and they can take a bit of a beating, depending on the job.  However, they have been more reliable than any other Grabs I’ve ever worked with.  They have a robust, simple design with less wear parts and therefore less to go wrong.

The Rotar RSP Pulveriser is a special bit of kit – it doesn’t go wrong.  Our operators love using it.”

Six years on and with six Grabs in their fleet, plus a Pulveriser, Wycombe Recycling and Gage Demolition are a key customer of Rotar demolition attachments.

Six years ago, Wycombe Recycling took delivery of their first Rotar Grab and today they have six in their fleet, along with a Rotar RSP Pulveriser.

Wycombe Recycling is a family run business, operating out of their Waste Transfer Station in High Wycombe.  They initially started out with one Skip, one excavator and one Rotar Grab in their first year of operation.  Today they offer recycling, demolition, site clearance, skip hire, grab loader hire, and supply crushed hardcore to the local area and beyond.  As the company expanded, they decided to separate the Demolition service out and now this is known as Gage Demolition.

They initially tried out their first Rotar Grab from Worsley Plant all those years ago and they were sold on it.   They decided to make on ongoing investment in Rotar kit, which is now used across both businesses.  The smaller grabs are in use at the Waste Transfer Station, unloading, sorting, and moving waste.   Then the larger Grabs and the Pulveriser are put to work on demolition jobs.  To date they have an RG12, RG15, RG22, RG28, RG37 and most recently their biggest on the RG40.  Their Pulveriser is an RDP25.

Keith, one of the Operators at Gage Demolition said:

On smaller job sites, Gage Demolition also use a MB BF90 Crushing bucket to recycle materials on site.  For them, the main benefit of the bucket is that the recycling of the demolished materials is a one-man job from start to finish and means they don’t need to take material off site or bring in crushed hardcore.

The Owner, Glen Hawes adds:

“We’ve worked with Worsley Plant for a long time now.  They offer an excellent service and offer some of the best attachments on the market in the UK today.  if something does go wrong or we need a spare part, the service we get from them is great.  If we have an issue an Engineer is usually with us the next working day to undertake any repairs.  All the guys like the Rotar kit and its reliability which is why we keep going back for more.”
