SIGNIFICANT TIME & MONEY SAVINGS WITH MB

We welcomed Go Waste to our premises recently to carry out a trial of a MB S14 Screening Bucket. Go Waste arrived at site with a truck loaded with their material to see if the screening bucket could deliver what they required.

Go Waste, established in 2002 and with over 30 years of experience, offer high quality skip hire, waste management, plant hire and haulage services across Birmingham and the Midlands.

The company operates out of a one acre site in Birmingham. The skip waste that comes in is predominantly from construction and demolition and is pre-sorted with their 14 ton excavator and a Rotar grab. It’s then hand sorted and the remaining material is formed of smaller pieces that requires additional processing.

Previously, Go Waste were segregating material during the week then working on Saturdays to process this waste through their Trommel. Any larger material, such as hardcore, was sent to the picking station.

The MB S14 trialled on the day of their visit is fitted with 70mm hardox plates. The bucket allows the screening of finer material, which can then be loaded into the hopper on their fines processing plant.

Using the screening bucket for a couple of hours at the end of each day will see the end of Saturday working. It will also eliminate the use of the larger Trommel, which is more expensive to run and maintain. The bucket has less moving parts and is easier and cheaper to maintain.

“The trial was a success for us. The MB S14 could do the job and will save our staff working at weekends and is also a money saving process – a trial well done!  We purchased the bucket the same day.”
