We are looking for a Parts Assistant to join our growing team

Worsley Plant is one of the UK’s leading providers of materials processing equipment, including wheel loader and excavator-mounted hydraulic attachments, for sale or hire throughout the UK.  We are a major supplier to the demolition, waste management, construction, and landscaping industries. Our products include crushing and screening buckets, demolition grabs, shears, and pulverisers, as well as quick couplers and density separation equipment.

We are currently seeking a Parts Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Middlewich, Cheshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe loading and unloading of inbound/outbound product and safe movement to Stores and the Workshop
• To pick and pack Parts orders – ensuring shipments are accurate, damage free, and dispatched on time to meet customer requirements
• Keeping appropriate records and producing reports to guarantee that tight inventory control is maintained
• Performing accurate physical inventory stock takes on a regular basis
• Maintaining good housekeeping across multiple work area
• Completing any reasonable tasks as required, to meet business and departmental needs
• Complying with all Health and Safety Policies and other Company Procedures

Requirements:

• Experience of Microsoft packages – Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Previous experience in Logistics would be an advantage, but enthusiasm to learn will be considered
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Proactive and enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
• Confidence and ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision or as part of a team
• A good attention to detail, with a commitment to ensuring quality & quantity of output
• Experience within the construction and demolition industries would be an advantage but not essential
