We are delighted to welcome Ray Felton as our new Area Sales Manager (Southern). Ray brings with him a wealth of relevant experience and will be responsible for generating sales and rentals of our range of hydraulic attachments including crushing and screening buckets, demolition grabs, shears and pulverisers, plus density separation equipment across the South West of the UK.
As a child Ray had a passion for football & anything with an engine especially big agricultural machinery. His first job out of school at the age of 16 was a Tyre Fitter for Motorway Tyres, Southampton. In the mid 80’s he set up his own tyre maintenance service business, specializing in the Agricultural, Transportation and Construction Industry supporting businesses with their vehicle fleet tyre maintenance. His customer base included companies such as RAC, Green Flag, Southampton Football Club, Ready Mix Concrete, Hansons, Norman Offer Trasport to name a few.
The business was initially extremely successful until sadly in the late 90’s with the recession hitting the transport and construction industry he decided to pursue a career in Sales. Since then Ray has worked mainly as an Area Sales Manager in the Construction Industry for a few companies including Greenfield JCB, Hewdens, Raymond Brown Minerals & Recycling and most recently BPH Attachments. He has gained intensive knowledge, experience and a great customer service background with many Blue Chip Companies.
Ray says: “I was delighted to be offered the opportunity to work for Worsley Plant and become Area Sales Manager (Southern) and I am looking forward to working with the great team of personnel already on board to increase our customer base and grow the Worsley Plant business.”
In his spare time, Ray enjoys family life and his “mad” Dog. His hobbies include Motor Racing (F1 & Motor GP/BSB), walking the dog, Mountain Biking and eating out.
