Areas of Use

Rotar demolition attachments are primarily used in demolition, scrap processing and recycling environments. Their grabs, shears and pulverisers are suited to primary and secondary demolition, concrete processing, steel cutting and material sorting. Rotar equipment is commonly employed on large-scale demolition sites, industrial dismantling projects and metal recycling facilities where power, durability and precision are essential.

“Our initial thoughts were to use a hydraulic breaker on them, but time and noise constraints made this uneconomical. Instead, we contacted Worsley Plant to see what they were able to offer us. We have dealt with Worsley for many years and run several attachments from them. They have been reliable and productive bits of kit, causing us very little in downtime and costs, enabling us to complete projects with little issue.”

Daniel Golebiwski | UCDS

"We will have a large volume of rebar on the job and ensuring the full recovery of this material will allow us to recover a large proportion of the investment we have made in the new kit."

Craig Coleman | Howard Civil Engineering

“When I was looking for a second selector grab for my first machine, the build quality of the Rotar stood out for me.’ ‘Not only was the build quality good, but the deal put together by the team at Worsley Plant made it a simple decision for me to buy it”

Austin Wilkinson | AW Demolition

“We have all been impressed with the Rotar equipment. The build quality is excellent, and we like the modular design of the pulveriser teeth that allow us to change them over very quickly as they wear. We’ve noticed the speed that both tools open and close is slightly quicker than other similar sized attachments in our fleet which is a big bonus.”

Ashley Barlow | Rye Demolition

“The Rotar grabs have been a staple for our recycling operations, providing unmatched durability and ease of use.”

Glen Hawes | Wycombe Recycling

“Despite the attachment’s size, the narrow jaws can squeeze in between obstacles, and combined with the rapid opening and closing times, makes cracking the concrete an easier task,” he explains. “We have several RDP processors on the fleet, and they are great bits of kit for general processing and demolition work. When it comes to the heavier material, I don’t think this RCC can be beaten!”
