The REMU Big Float is a patented, self-propelled tracked pontoon undercarriage that transforms a conventional excavator into an amphibious machine.
Designed for soft, unstable and waterlogged terrain, the Big Float allows excavation work to continue in places where standard machinery may sink, lose traction or become stranded. Its long, sealed pontoons distribute the machine’s weight across a much larger surface area, producing ultra-low ground pressure and positive buoyancy.
The result is a stable and highly mobile working platform for mud, marshland, floodplains, riverbanks, shallow water and other difficult ground conditions.
