Adrian’s journey began as an agricultural engineer, where he honed his foundational skills and developed a passion for mechanical engineering. His time at Reaseheath College provided him with the theoretical knowledge that propelled him into the emerging field of tractor electronics, leading to his interest in hobbyist PC building. After a decade in the agricultural sector, Adrian sought new challenges in the Plant and Construction industry, where he maintained mobile equipment such as crushers, screens, and excavators, expanding his skill set and career potential.
Adrian’s career at Worsley Plant Ltd has been marked by significant advancement, starting as a Field Service Manager from 2005 to 2008, where he developed strong relationships with clients and honed his technical expertise. He then served as Aftersales Manager from 2008 to 2011, further enhancing customer satisfaction and service delivery. His leadership skills shone through during his tenure as General Manager from 2011 to 2017, where he oversaw operations and contributed to strategic growth initiatives.
In 2017, Adrian took on the role of Operations Director and Shareholder, successfully managing the daily operations of Worsley Plant Ltd, leading a team of 20-25 professionals to deliver innovative solutions for the demolition, recycling, and plant sectors. His commitment to customer satisfaction and product development has solidified the company’s reputation in a competitive niche market.
In 2021, Adrian and former owner Sean agreed to initiate the acquisition process, ensuring a seamless transition and continued growth for Worsley Plant Ltd. Sean will remain involved as a mentor and Sales Director, guiding the company through its next phase of development. “I have full confidence in Adrian’s ability to lead Worsley Plant into a promising future,” Sean stated.
Adrian Nixon is now poised to lead Worsley Plant Ltd into a new era as Managing Director and Owner, focusing on the sale of Excavator Attachments and enhancing the company’s offerings in crushing and screening solutions. His strategic approach aims to strengthen the company’s position in a challenging industry while fostering relationships with customers and suppliers at all levels.
