Control dust directly at the source
Manage dust where it is created with the DYNASET HPW-DUST High Pressure Dust Suppression System. Using the carrier machine’s hydraulic power, the system delivers high-pressure water to specially designed nozzles that create a fine, dust-binding mist.
Nozzles can be positioned close to the attachment or material transfer point, concentrating suppression on the working area. This targeted approach helps limit dust spreading across the site while avoiding unnecessary watering of surrounding areas.
Key benefits and features
- Targeted dust control: Applies fine water mist directly where dust is generated.
- Efficient water use: Concentrates water on the dust source to help reduce excessive wetting and mud.
- Cab-operated control: Allows the operator to activate dust suppression when required.
- Compact installation: Integrates dust suppression into the working machine.
- Application-specific configurations: Kits are available for excavators, crushers and sweepers.
- Optional Double Dust system: Adds high-power nozzles for enhanced suppression.
- Additional cleaning capability: A washing gun provides pressure-washing functionality.
Applications
The HPW-DUST system is suitable for dust-producing operations including:
- Demolition and concrete processing
- Crushing, screening and conveyor transfer points
- Recycling and waste handling
- Quarrying and mining
- Drilling and tunnelling
- Street sweeping and cleaning
- General material handling
How it works
The machine’s hydraulic system powers an HPW high-pressure water pump. Water is supplied to nozzles positioned around the dust source, where it is atomised into fine droplets. These droplets bind airborne dust particles, helping to control their spread.
On excavators, nozzles can be installed around the working attachment. On crushers, they can target points where material falls onto a conveyor or transfers between processing stages.
Choosing the right system
The appropriate pump and nozzle configuration depends on your machine, available hydraulic capacity and application.
