At Worsley Plant Ltd., a leading nationwide supplier of excavator attachments, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Field Service Technician/Mobile Tech. As we continue to grow and meet the increasing demands of the market, we are looking to enhance our successful team of engineers who specialise in the supply, installation, and maintenance of excavator attachments.

About the Role

Based at our head office in Cheshire (CW10), the successful candidate will play a vital role in providing on-site support, installing, and repairing attachments to ensure our customers receive the best service possible. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay ranging from £38,000 to £50,000 per year, based on experience and work ethic.

We are proud to offer comprehensive training on our bespoke equipment, ensuring that our technicians are well-equipped to handle the unique challenges of the job. The role includes a company van and mobile phone, with pay calculated from door to door.

Key Skills and Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess:

A strong mechanical understanding of plant equipment.
Hydraulic knowledge with the ability to understand flows and pressures, and comfort working on hydraulic systems.
Welding skills, which would be an added advantage.
A self-motivated attitude and the ability to work effectively in a customer-facing environment.

Experience required includes a minimum of three years of mechanical knowledge, and a valid driving licence is essential. A willingness to travel, approximately 50% of the time, is preferred.
