Join Our Team: Workshop Technician/ Mechanic

At Worsley Plant Ltd, a leading nationwide supplier of excavator attachments, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Workshop Technician/ Mechanic for a busy workshop. As we continue to grow and meet the increasing demands of the market, we are looking to enhance our successful team of workshop engineers who specialise in the supply, installation, and maintenance of excavator attachments.

About the Role

Based at our head office in Cheshire (CW10), this role would suit a workshop engineer or engineer from a mechanical background looking for a permanent role refitting and refurbishing a range of different attachments from hydraulic /rotating sorting grabs to crushing and screening buckets, with optional overtime to increase earnings and specialist training on bespoke attachments. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 per year, based on experience and work ethic.

The applicant should have mechanical knowledge /technical experience, not essentially in plant but agricultural or plant would be a benefit.

Hydraulic knowledge also would be an advantage

The ability to weld and fabricate.

Key Skills and Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess:

A strong mechanical understanding of plant equipment.
Hydraulic knowledge with the ability to understand flows and pressures, and comfort working on hydraulic systems.
Welding skills, which would be an added advantage.
A self-motivated attitude.

Experience required includes a minimum of five years of mechanical knowledge.
